After 11 hours and Lord knows how many redos, I'm considering the painting complete. I'm not entirely happy with it, but I know that I've still got a way to go to developing better technique. I got some extender, and it did help with blending, but I'm still figuring out shadowing. With pencils, I just draw harder or lighter, with paints, I have to figure out exactly what the proper color of the shadowing should be!
