It's about that time, the anniversary of the death of one of my very favorite guitarists, hide Matsumoto of X Japan. In honor of his life, I painted a portrait of him. Granted this is my first portrait done with paint. I've always drawn them in the past. I hope you enjoy it, it is for sale if you're interested. So I bought some canvas and started a new piece this morning... It's different than any of my other artwork seen her thusfar. It's a pop art piece! I'm not normally a portrait painter, but I thought I'd give it a shot after this amazingly weird and funny idea came to me while driving this morning. It concerns our favorite #winner, Charlie Sheen! We shall see.
